Website terms of use

Last updated: July 30, 2026

Welcome to the Lab’Eau-Air-Sol website (the “website”). Its purpose is to present our services, expertise, training, publications and resources. Information is provided for general information only and does not replace professional expertise, an on-site assessment, a diagnosis or laboratory analysis.

By accessing or using the website, you accept these terms of use. If you do not accept them, please stop using the website.

1. Purpose of the website

The website presents Lab’Eau-Air-Sol’s services and analyses, areas of expertise, training, publications, news, resources, selected achievements and contact information. It may also allow visitors to submit information, quotation or service requests, download documents and access third-party platforms.

2. Use of the website

You agree to use the website responsibly, in accordance with applicable laws and these terms. You must not:

  • Use it for fraudulent, illegal or malicious purposes.
  • Compromise or attempt to compromise its security or operation.
  • Access or attempt to access Lab’Eau-Air-Sol’s systems, accounts or data without authorization.
  • Introduce viruses, malware or anything that could damage the website.
  • Knowingly submit false, incomplete or misleading information.
  • Use it in a way that could harm Lab’Eau-Air-Sol’s rights, activities or reputation.
  • Reproduce or exploit its content contrary to these terms.

3. Nature of the information

Articles, guides, technical sheets, documents, videos and other resources are provided for information, education and awareness. Although Lab’Eau-Air-Sol strives to keep information accurate, complete and current, it remains general in nature.

It does not constitute an expert assessment, laboratory analysis, diagnosis, building assessment, personalized interpretation of results or scientific or professional advice adapted to a particular situation.

Every building, environment, installation and sample has its own characteristics. Website information cannot replace an assessment by a qualified professional or analysis performed as part of an assignment. Users remain responsible for decisions based on website information. Lab’Eau-Air-Sol may change, correct or remove content at any time without notice.

4. Communications and service requests

Information submitted through forms or contact details must be accurate and complete. Sending an information request, quotation request, sample or service request does not automatically create a contractual relationship, constitute acceptance of an assignment, guarantee service availability or confirm that an analysis or expert assessment will be performed.

An assignment is accepted only when confirmed under Lab’Eau-Air-Sol’s applicable procedures. Personal information is handled according to our Policy on the management and protection of personal information.

5. Downloadable documents and resources

Guides, publications, technical sheets, presentations and other downloadable documents are intended for reasonable personal, educational or professional use related to Lab’Eau-Air-Sol’s activities.

Unless otherwise stated or authorized in writing beforehand, these documents may not be modified, sold, republished, distributed on a large scale, incorporated into a commercial product or presented as the work of another person or organization. Downloading a document transfers no intellectual property rights. See our Legal notice for more information.

6. Training and external platforms

Some training, registrations, transactions or features may be offered through third-party platforms, including Podia. When you leave this website for an external platform, its terms, privacy policies and practices govern your use of it.

Lab’Eau-Air-Sol does not control the operation, availability, security or terms of those platforms. Training purchases or registrations may also be subject to specific terms presented during the transaction.

7. External links

The website may link to third-party sites, including public bodies, associations, social networks, partners and training platforms. Links are provided for information and convenience. A link does not necessarily mean that Lab’Eau-Air-Sol endorses all content, opinions, products or services on the linked site.

Lab’Eau-Air-Sol is not responsible for external sites’ content, availability, security, privacy practices, products or services.

8. Availability and operation

Lab’Eau-Air-Sol strives to keep the website available and functional. It may nevertheless be interrupted or contain errors because of maintenance, updates, technical or telecommunications issues, or events beyond our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free access or compatibility with every device and browser.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Lab’Eau-Air-Sol cannot be held liable for damage, losses or harm arising from:

  • Use or interpretation of website information.
  • Decisions made without an expert assessment, professional evaluation or laboratory analysis.
  • Use of downloadable documents or resources.
  • Temporary or permanent unavailability of the website.
  • Technical, computer or telecommunications errors.
  • Use of third-party websites or platforms.
  • Unauthorized access attributable to circumstances beyond Lab’Eau-Air-Sol’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Protection of personal information

Collection, use, disclosure, retention and destruction of personal information are governed by our Policy on the management and protection of personal information. That policy also explains the use of cookies on the website.

11. Changes to these terms

Lab’Eau-Air-Sol may amend these terms to reflect changes to its services, website or applicable requirements. Amendments take effect when published on the website unless another date is specified.

12. Applicable law
